Where you can relax in the sun on the spectacular Wattamolla Beach, swim in lagoons and bushwalk to breathtaking views. Even get an authentic Aussie BBQ with kangaroo and Vegetarian options
Sydney is a beautiful bustling city but from time to time we need to escape to nature for relaxation and a recharge. So why not come spend a day of fun in the Royal National Park which is situated 18.6-miles (30-kilometers) south of Sydney. The Royal National Park is a beautiful coastal bushland that butts up to the ocean and is an amazing part of NSW.
There is a stop made at a shopping mall where you can buy snacks, water, drinks, sunscreen etc for the day.
The picturesque Wattamolla Beach is generally a local's secret gem in the middle of dense bushland. Wattamolla Beach is best described as where the bush meets the beach with a relaxed lagoon to swim in that adjoins to a beach with waves to body surf. Between swims catch some rays or have a whack at some beach cricket or beach soccer. At Wattamola beach your guides will also cook up a quality waterside Aussie BBQ which is always much appreciated.
After lunch, head over to Governor Game Lookout for some elevated pictures of the coastline and possibly spot a distant whale or two (if you are lucky). Continue onto Bald Hill Headland Reserve which has some great views overlooking Stanwell Park. Bald Hill Headland is Australia’s most famous para and hang gliding location in Australia. Around now is time to start the journey back to Sydney City through the winding roads and bushland. Upon returning to Sydney you have the option for a free drink at a bar at the drop off location for a chance to chill out further and exchange contact information for more meetups.
Please bring a towel, closed shoes, drinking water, sunscreen, smiles and your camera!
