Join the wine specialists and indulge in a luxurious day touring the world renowned McLaren Vale visiting boutique wineries - no two tours are ever the same!

As part of an intimate group of up to six guests, you will enjoy a fun and engaging day with your private wine guide. Your itinerary will be tailored to suit your preferences in wine, as your passionate and knowledgeable guide gets to know you during the day.

One of the best regions to visit, the Vale definitely has something for everybody! One of the most diverse grape growing regions in the world, McLaren Vale is at the forefront of the New World of wine, pushing boundaries and breaking the mold of wine as we know it! Known for lighter drinking fruity wines Shiraz and Grenache are the big guns here, with Mediterranean varieties starting to come to the fore.

Join an exploration of wine and discover the hidden gems of the picturesque McLaren Vale with South Australia's wine-specialist guides.

The day starts with being picked up from your Adelaide CBD or Glenelg accommodation around 9am in our top of the line Mercedes-Benz V250. Along the way to the first winery your wine guide will familiarise you with the region and its roots, along with Adelaide's other main wine producing regions.

During the first two winery visits your guide will get to know you and your tastes in wine, and will plan the rest of the day accordingly to the tastes of individuals within the group wherever possible.

After the third winery for the day it's off to lunch whether it be one of the State's best pizza joints, maybe something fresh and light from a seasonal garden cafe, or to snack on a platter of regional produce overlooking the vines - it's your choice!

Following lunch there is time to visit two more wineries which will be chosen based on the group's preferences and whatever impromptu experiences your guide may have stashed up his sleeve.

At the end of the tour you are transported back to your accommodation for around 530pm, along with anything you may have purchased during the day and the many memories you will have made
