Meet your guide outside Trinity College Dublin at 10am to begin your walking tour of "the fair city." Your local guide will start with an introduction to Trinity College, home of the Book of Kells and over 400 hears of history. Then head to St. Patrick's Cathedral, home to the birth of Christianity in Ireland. Entrance fees are at your own expense.
Continue to Christ Church Cathedral and Temple Bar to discover Dublin's viking and medieval history. Visit the Statue of Molly Malone, Dublin's official mascot, and the Powerscourt Town House Center followed by one of Europe’s earliest shopping arcades, which dates to Victorian times.
Arrive at the gates of Dublin Castle for a fascinating exterior tour of the heart of historic Dublin. Built on a site settled by the vikings, this 13th-century castle served as a military fortress, jailhouse, treasury, and courts of law, as well as the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years. Explore the gardens and other points of interest including the Record and Octagonal towers and the upper and lower State Yards.
