Hotel pickups commence at 9am. Depart from Victoria Dock at 9:30am and take a scenic 30-minute drive from Hobart to reach your first stop, the wonderful Bonorong wildlife sanctuary. See wombats and kangaroos up-close and learn about the Tasmanian Devil. Next, visit the famous Mt. Field National Park, Tasmania's oldest national park. Walk to see the iconic Russell Falls and learn of the natural history that makes up this world heritage listed national park and wander under the giant native trees and capture photos of the lush forests and idyllic mountain steams.
Enjoy a fresh local lunch (at your own expense) at the beautiful marsupial lawns and keep an eye our soaring eagles. As you leave the mountains, visit a local vineyard to sample some award winning Tasmanian wine. Kick back, relax and enjoy learning about Tasmania's rich wine culture at one of the states favored wineries. Return to Hobart at the conclusion of the tour.
