Rottnest Island Tandem Skydive
Skydive tandem over Rottnest Island, jumping from 10,000, 14,000, or 15,000 feet (3,048, 4,267, or 4,572 meters) in elevation. Get stunning views of the entire island as you cruise up to altitude during a 20-minute scenic flight. The adrenaline starts pumping as you leave the aircraft and free-fall at 124 mph (200 kph) for up to 66 seconds. Then relax while you and your instructor float back down to earth on a 5-minute parachute ride, landing on the pristine beaches of Salmon Bay or Bickley Bay.
Make your own way by ferry or flight to Rottnest Island, located just 11 miles (19 km) from the Fremantle coast in Western Australia. Your tandem skydive starts from the Rottnest Island Terminal Building at Rottnest Airfield, a 15-minute walk from the jetty.
After completing your paperwork, get harnessed up and receive a safety briefing, then head out to the plane to begin your exhilarating adventure. Take in the incredible scenery from the plane as it climbs to your chosen altitude; select a jump from 10,000, 14,000, or 15,000 feet at booking.
You are safely secured to your tandem guide before it's time for the door to open. Then get ready for an adrenaline rush like no other as you spend 30 to 66 minutes in a free-fall at speeds reaching 124 mph.
Once you reach 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) your tandem guide will deploy the parachute, allowing you to sit back and catch your breath while taking in the incredible views of Western Australia's majestic coastline. You'll spend about 5 minutes drifting back to the ground.
Your friends and family will be given directions to the landing area, where they will be able to watch you land on a designated island beach at Salmon Bay or Bickley Bay. After landing, you're served a well-deserved drink to celebrate your experience.
