This Phillip Island Penguin Parade and Wine Tasting day trip offers a wonderful tour to the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. You will enjoy great wine and food of the region before premium seating to watch the penguins make their journey from the beach. You will also visit Moonlit Sanctuary, home to Australian wildlife including a Koala encounter and ranger presentation.
Your day starts in the early afternoon between 12pm and 2pm (departure time depends on the season you will be traveling).
Your first stop is Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, Melbourne's award winning wildlife park where you are free to explore the 10 hectares of natural bushland and feed the kangaroos (food is provided) as well as viewing other Australian wildlife such as dingoes, wombats, wallabies, emus, reptiles and enjoying encounters with colorful birds.
Your tour here includes a "Koala cuddling" encounter with a ranger presentation.
The next stop is to Bass Valley Estate where you will gasp at the magnificent views of this vineyard. Roger, the winemaker, hosts an exclusive tasting and you can sit back and enjoy some local cheeses.
A two-course dinner with wine can be before or after the penguin parade (depending on the time of year of travel) This is hosted at the beautiful Watermark Restaurant as part of the Silverwater Resort.
Then onto the penguins where you are provided premium Penguins Plus viewing with a ranger to allow the best viewing of the penguins from the beach as they come home at sunset-every day of the year!
Your private charter then returns you back to your accommodation after a fabulous day filled with food, wine and wildlife.
