With a general entry 'All Day' ticket you can interact with kangaroos, koalas, dingos, wombats and more. And there is so much more to Maru than just the animals. You can also catch a sheep shearing show or even set sail into Pirate Pete’s Mini-Golf Adventure and enjoy 18 holes of fun.
See Australian wildlife at Maru Koala and Animal Park. Join hourly guided tours inside the koala area and take advantage of the opportunity to pat a koala as you come eye to eye with it. Enjoy hand feeding and patting the kangaroos and wallabies, including rare albinos. See wombats, dingoes, a Tasmanian Devil, talking parrots, reptiles and much more in the animal park.
Pat a koala, cuddle a dingo, meet a young joey or get wrapped up in a python snake, it’s all possible during special ‘close encounters’ (additional cost, payable direct) at Maru. Bring your camera and take advantage of the ample photo opportunities or have a professional photo taken as a souvenir of your experience.
Enjoy Maru's Sheep Shearing show held in their auditorium daily. See sheep being shorn for a true ‘Aussie’ experience, meet the shearer and learn about the sheep wool and their products.
Then set sail into Pirate Pete’s Mini-Golf Adventure and enjoy 18 holes of fun. Putt your way around the thirty meter Pirate Ship and encounter life-size pirate figures, including one of Captain Jack Sparrow. Enter the gold mine under the five meter thunderous waterfall and watch out for the grouch in the old outback dunny!
Afterwards, relax in the licensed Homestead Bistro or alfresco dining area and enjoy a meal or light lunch (at own expense). All dietary needs catered for including Halal, gluten and dairy free and vegetarian meals available.
