Kaesler Vineyard Old Vine Tour
Enjoy a 1-hour tour of the vineyards at Kaesler Wines, learning about the fascinating history of winemaking in the Barossa Valley. See the gnarled vines of the Old Bastard Vineyard, which date back to 1893, and enjoy a wine tasting experience with the informative staff in the tasting room, with a chance to sample the renowned Kaelser Old Vine Shiraz and Old Bastard Shiraz.
Meet at 11.30am at the Kaesler Wines cellar door in the Barossa Valley and begin a 30-minute walking tour of the vineyard to learn about the wine-making process and the history of Kaesler Wines. More than 70% of the red wines produced here are made from vines that are more than 50-years old. Some of these rare and valuable old vines date back to 1893, and are the backbone of the region's bold and intense Barossa wines.
Return to the cellar door for a 30-minute wine tasting experience hosted by the experienced and knowledgeable staff. Sample some of the fine wines produced from these vineyards, including the Kaelser Old Vine Shiraz and the Old Bastard Shiraz.
