Join this long running and award winning sailing tour operator in Hervey Bay offering tours since July of 1997. The “Blue Dolphin” is a modern, luxurious and very well appointed sailing catamaran. Launched in May of 2011, she is 11.6-meters long, has plenty of shaded seating areas and wide flat decks. Perfectly suited to this Eco-friendly tours.
The tour departs at 7.30am, heading out to Platypus Bay on the Western side of Fraser Island. Throughout the day you will be offered all meals and the chance to experience the whales up close and personal. A very informative talk is given by your skipper, reference material is also available and a hydrophone is on-board. After spending a couple of hours in the company of the whales you will head back to the marina in Hervey Bay arriving at approximately 4pm.
