Guided Craft Beer Walking Tour in Brisbane
Brewing beer is a craft, one that many struggle to learn. A good brew produces beer with unique characteristics and notes that distinguish it from the rest of the market. This guided tour offers a chance to see for yourself just how craft beer has flourished in recent years. Take a walk down Caxton Street for this 3-hour educated experience. The maximum group size for this tour is 15 people.
Begin your craft beer tour at 2pm on the corner of Park Road and Railway Terrace. From there, you will walk with your guide to three different pubs around Caxton Street, known for the craft beers they brew on site. You’ll have the opportunity to sample the beers they have on tap, learn about the brewing process, and meet the owners of each establishment. Throughout the course of the day, you’ll learn how these pubs have made their mark on the city and contributed to craft beer's increasing popularity. You’ll learn how each beer is made and how the process affects its characteristics. After about 3-hours, your tour will end at Fritzenberger.
Please note that a moderate amount of walking is involved, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Your tour does includes beer samples, but no food will be provided. All participants must be over 18 years of age and bookings are essential. If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about the city, this is the tour for you!
