Learn how to make the Bahamian national dish, conch salad, with one of the conch experts. This conch salad lesson allows you to experience the island, people, and food at the same time.
Your tour will begin with pickup from your Nassau hotel or private residence. You will be taken to the stand of a local conch expert right off the edge of the bay. Your expert will give you a history lesson on the pink-lipped shellfish, conch, and interesting facts such as how it has become to be known as the Bahamian Viagara.
The process involves strategic removal of the shellfish from its hard shell home and scoring and slicing of all the vibrant ingredients that make up the dish. Once your dish is complete, sit back and enjoy your creation at the waterside location.
Your guide will then take you back to your Nassau hotel or private residence.
