Bribie Island 4WD Kayak and WWII Bunker Tour
Enjoy the spectacular trip along Bribie Island's pristine beach, stopping at various locations along the way, spot birds, fish and different wildlife as you paddle through one of the local lagoons. Visit Fort Bribie, the remains of the WWII fortifications where you will learn the history of these fortifications, with the chance to spot other native wildlife including, kangaroos, wallabies, seabirds, goannas and much more. Free transfer to and from any accommodation on Bribie Island for your 3-hour tour.
This tour starts by driving along the beach to Norfolk lagoon where you will unload the kayaks and hit the water for a tour of 2nd lagoon (Norfolk lagoon), with fantastic photo ops with friends, and iconic Australian wildlife and scenery. After the kayak tour, jump back in the 4WD-heading north along the pristine beach to our next destination.
Arriving at the WWII Bunkers (fort Bribie), be amazed by the history of these great forts built in the 1940’s. There will be plenty of time to explore and learn the history of these structures, that are slowly descending into the ocean and may one day cease to exist,
After the WWII bunker tour, head back south with plenty of time to keep a look out for local dolphins, the tour ends by returning you to your original pickup point.
