Please note that a good level of fitness is required to participate in our mixed group tours.

Day 1 (L,D)
Depart at 7am for the heart of the Kimberley. Visit the remote town of Derby then head straight for the Gibb River Road. Stop off to view a 1500y old Boab prison tree. Explore Tunnel Creek, the Napier Range and the 350 Million Year old Devonian reef system exposed in the area. In the late afternoon, arrive at Windjana Gorge to enjoy your first Kimberley sunset.

Day 2 (B,L,D)
This morning we make our way back to the Gibb River Road and travel deeper into the Kimberley towards the King Leopold Ranges. Our first stop is Bell Gorge. Our hike into the gorge reveals one of the most popular Kimberley waterfalls. After a refreshing swim and snorkel, further exploration of the Gorge and some relaxation time, we head further east along the Gibb to tonight's camp, just in time for sunset.

Day 3 (B,L,D)
Today, hike into Manning Gorge spending the whole morning exploring this rugged remote gorge. Swim at a secluded beach and view obscure Rock Art, then visit the greater falls for more snorkelling and swimming. Afterwards, perhaps grab a coffee or ice cream at Barnett River Roadhouse and head to tonight’s camp.

Day 4 (B,L,D)
This morning visit Home Valley Station. Hike into Bindoola Gorge and falls before cresting the Pentecost Range to admire the dominant Cockburn Range, Pentecost River and Wyndham to the North. Arrive at Elquestro to explore famous Emma Gorge. The Emma Gorge hike leads us through towering sandstone escarpments to eventually arrive at a tall waterfall in a lush tropical paradise. Tonight, our private Elquestro camp is situated right on the banks of the Pentecost River.

Day 5 (B,L,D)
Visit Zebedee Thermal Springs in the morning. Next travel the remainder of the Gibb before turning south onto the Great Northern Highway and further onto the Mabel Downs Station track to tackle the raw rugged terrain of the Osmond Range and surrounding Bungle Bungle landscape. Arriving at Purnululu NP, end today at one of the park's great vantage points to view the Bungle Bungle Range as the sun sets behind us.

Day 6 (B,L,D)
Spend the whole day hiking the Bungle Bungle Range, trek Piccinnini Creek, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm. Take a helicopter flight to view the surrounding landscape (own expense).

Day 7 (B,L,D)
Head towards the Northern Territory, stopping in Kununurra, a buzzing East Kimberley hub that hosts some excellent aboriginal art galleries and cafes. Continue east to camp at Judbarra (Gregory NP) in the Victoria River District, displaying some of the most dramatic sandstone escarpment in Australia.

Day 8 (B,L,D)
Visit the gorgeous Edith Falls for a hike, swim and picnic lunch before traveling to Darwin, where we transport you to your accommodation.
